I tried this cotton nylon blend for cool summer socks. It was a little difficult to work with, but they are super comfortable. I also used a new toe-up pattern that I am going to continue to use. The short row heel is easy as pie and they fit perfectly.

My first trekking socks! I finished them in time to wear to Rhinebeck, and I'm glad I did. They were warm and dry in my hiking boots, which hiked over the entire fairgrounds at least four times!
Yarn: Trekking XXL
Color: #90
My first lace project! It took me about 3 months, mostly because I became frustrated with the pattern and set it aside for about a month and a half. I am so proud of this baby, there are no words.

These four hats and pair of socks were made for my pledge to Knit Unto Others 2006 and the Dulaan Project 2007. They were simple to knit and should make some cold children cozy and warm.
